Reloading recipes for a Glock 17

A friend of mine uses 5.5 grains of unique at OAL of 1.125 with FMJ round nose(Have to ask what brand.) For a new shooter, dont worry too much about a high accuracy load, any load you give them will only be as accurate as the person shooting them. Best to start out with a nice soft load even one that is slightly subsonic until they get used to it
 
I load 2.8 grains of Titegroup with Berry's 158 gr truncated cone (.38 cal) plated bullets. Can't recal the OAL but they're loaded long. VERY soft shooting.
 
i use 124gr frontier plated bullets over 3.5 or 3.7 or 4 grs of tight group. i loaded up 1000-1200 of them a while ago and can't remember the powder amount. very light and i'm sure far more accurate then me.

Serious? .38 is .357. 9mm is .356. Titegroup is pretty fast powder for such heavy and slightly over bore bullet. I'm no expert but does the Glock barrels have a one thou give?

We're talking .001" here. To put that in perspective, the average human hair is .004".

Plus we're talking plated bullets, not FMJs.

I've yet to experience any problems with my load.
