Most Accurate Stock .22LR Out Of Box??

It may not be the most accurate if we are talking group size but my SR-22 with Stinger at 100 metres is a hell of a shooter... JP.

I bow to you sir. Those are amazing groups for any .22 lr at 109 yards.

My prized Anschutz 1418 would barely keep up to groups like that.

Just bought a Savage MkII TR to take up rimfire silhouette. Took it out back for the first time today to get the scope mounted properly(had to shim the rear base) and then proceeded to #### around a bit. Shooting off the hood of my truck I could hit a roughly 2.5" diamond(steel resetting target) at ~100m(paced distance) every shot using winchester dynapoints. When I make it to the range in the next couple days I have some target grade stuff and a better rest to do some testing with. From what I gather these guns should easily do under 1" at 100m w/ target loadings. Trigger is decent out of the box, nothing to brag about, nothing major to complain about. The varmint versions of the MkII should be the same.

That said Anschutz, Cooper, et. al. are the ones to go for if you have the cash.

No, the trigger of the sako p94s needs work to match the Annie. 5018 I use a suhl as I like the trigger of it the best.

Smithing work, or swapping to a completely new trigger assembly? I'm really on the fence about getting another GOOD rimfire (54 action Annie or better), going with a cheapy (Marlin/Savage) or something middle of the road (CZ).

The Finfire falls right between middle and good as far as price. This would be for MS shooting mostly.

A very accurate 22 rimfire is a joy to shoot with.
I had the uncommon fortune to become the owner of
a Jim Williams prepared Suhl 150.
This rifle never fails to impress me.
It has a 36X Leupold on it.
Also has a Harrell's tuner up front.
It is not unusual on a dead calm day to put 10 shots at 100 meters into ½" or less.
I have many 50 meter 10 shot groups under .150"
The trigger is absolutely phenomenal!!
I also own a 40X Remington which is no slouch.
Under $600.00 though?? I'd take a CZ every time.
I have a 452 American that shoots pretty decently.
Regards, Eagleye.
These were shot at 50M
