Maybe...but a 100% "all stainless" pistol is overkill unless you live in a salt spray testing machine.I think the OP is referring to a 100% stainless gun with all stainless internals too.

Round three: What kind of finishes do Navy Seals, Marine Units and other water bourne units use for protection? Not bright shiny stainless steel

Polymer frame doesn't rust, and the tenifer coating on the slide protects against rust.
Plus, salt water exposure isn't an issue if you maintain your gun...
