Stock for 110BA

Has anyone changed the stock on their 110BA? Or can anyone point me in the direction of a stock for this rifle. I'm thinking it may soon be time for a change. The rifle is .338 BTW

id risk a guess that any stock that will acceept the savage long action would work, but you would also need to purchase some kinda of bottome metal to go along with it as the 110ba has every thing built into the stock

Not a lot of savage long action stocks available. You might have to look into getting something like a McMillan custom inletted.

Yea that is what I feared. Was hoping someone had come accross something in their travels though.

Choate makes some. I went with the tactical and a tac pro adjustable cheek rest. Affordable and does a pretty good job. Talk to mystic, he is the man for this stuff.

Did you do this on a 110BA? If so, what bottom metal did you go with?

No, it was just a regular long action. I couldn't find a long action bottom metal... My 110BA is stuck in its stock... lol

Man, spending $2,000 on this rifle and then having to change this stock is an expensive proposition. Hopefully, you find something to your liking.

I thought about selling it and getting the LRH instead but I do like the 110BA stock as well. I'm just thinking it may be time to change things up a bit. I dont HAVE to change the stock, just looking for a change, that's all.

You might be able to inlet the factory bottom metal onto another stock. I will take mine apart tonight an see if this is possible.

I dont think that is possible, the whole trigger guard and mag well are part of the stock and non removable, unless you want to destroy the original stock I guess.
