Mossberg tactical 22 accessories

I have owned both carry handle and the new flat top version. There is no extra barrel for our guns. The gun comes with a fixed stock or calapsible stock. If you want a folding stock you will have to fab something up. Since our guns are plastic, I wouldn't recommend it. Also it would make it restricted by switching barrels or using a folding stock!!!!!!
As for the Mags, Cabelas/bass pro or wanstalls has them. Shop around cause they very almost $10 in price not including shipping.
No a AR stock wont work with our guns unless you want to drill a cross bolt for it. The barrels from what I know won't work with the mossy.

I just got my Mossberg tactical 22 flat top (M715T) and now as usual I want to make some changes to it. I am having trouble finding accessories. Anyone know where I can find a shorter barrel, folding stock and higher capacity mags? Will standard AR/M4 stocks and barrels fit this gun?
Thanks,
Hollywood

Just another recommendation, try as many brands/types of ammo you can for your mossy. You'd be surprized what ammo groups well but jams. Try to find one that groups well but has no FTE/FTL.

Why will it make it restricted to change the barrel or stock??
You know barrel length doesn’t apply to rim fires right..
Only overall length is used to classify restricted or non-restricted for rim fire. I think its 26 inches over all length is the min length to be Non-restricted.
What is the mag capacity of the high capacity mags you have found the most I have found is 25... I already have a couple of those. Im looking for a 50 or more :))

Wrong.

Correct. However, I believe the Mossberg has an 18" barrel, so cutting it yourself to any length at all will make it prohibited. You may not alter a barrel to any length less than 18". You will have to find a factory produced barrel at a shorter length if you want a shorter length.

Question then, if you swap out the barrel or and the stock fold to less than 26.5" Doesn't it make it restricted? And no there is no drum mags for our guns sadly.

Restricted =

"rifles and shotguns that can be fired when their overall length has been reduced by folding, telescoping or other means to less than 660 mm"

Ok so I am right, if you make the gun length shorter than 26.5" , it's restricted. You can do this by either making the stock fold or and putting on a shorter barrel.

No, the number is 26", not 26.5".

Your original statement made no mention of OAL, you simply said switching barrels or the stock would make it restricted. This is simply not true. Only if such a switch reduces his overall length to less than 26" would it become restricted. There are plenty of stock alterations and barrel switches one can make to a firearm while retaining the minimum OAL. You implied any switch makes it restricted...which is wrong.

The OP said he was looking at a folding stock and or a shorter barrel. Without the stock the gun length is 26".
So yes I guess you could either have a folding stock or a shorter barrel but not both because then it would make it restricted.
Guess Im half right then.

OAL is the shortest length the gun can be reduced to and still be fireable. The OP could still have his folding stock and shorter barrel (which probably doesn't exist) if the stock rendered the gun unfireable while folded. I see now what you were saying, but not being a Mossberg Tactical owner that didn't immediately come to mind. It came across as a blanket statement to me.

I am really wanting a 50 or 100 round mag since its semi auto and IMO the biggest perk of rim fire fun is the unlimited round capacity.
