Norinco M4 -stuck bcg

Why are there so many problems with these 10.5" norcs? I've never heard of anything like the extractor booster as mentioned above, and have never seen it inside the BCG out of my 8 years in the army working on C7s. I have never even seen this in regular AR15s. It has always just been a spring by itself pushing up against the extractor.

Above all, I havent had a single problem with my 14.5" Norc CQA other than the fact that I hate Ambi-mag releases(a simple $10 swap out).

Check to make sure that there is nothing but the spring and buffer inside the buffer tube. As for the short stroking that someone mentioned, I would check the timing of your gas piston to make sure its properly aligned.

the 10.5's are piston driven?

Haha sorry about that I meant to say gas tube inside the gas block. more importantly, you want to ensure that the gas block actually bleeds off gas properly from the hole in the barrel. I've seen one instance where the gas block was not staked into the barrel to allow gas to bleed off into the gas tube properly.
