Just went into the Service Ontario Office to purchase Deer tag and hand in app for doe tag. They take all your info again to update there system. I asked why not take it from the card number and they said they have a new system that has to be in putted again. Could not believe the crap for sealing your dear they give you a plastic tie (the ones used to hold wires together). This tie is about 8 inches long. They also give you a temporary tag with a number on it. They do not stick anything to the outdoor card and this is your receipt till your tag comes in the mail. Then to boot you have to go to this counter fill in a binder with your name and number of this application they give you to fill out and deposit in a box for the doe tag. Unbelievable they are supposed to go automated to save a tree and we have gone 10 steps backwards.

I was in yesterday, they didn't update any info or give me a ziptie. Yellow receipt and the draw entry I did get. Would be easier if they didnt have us dropping paper forms in for the draw when that's all electronic.

But in my WMU, you can walk in and get Antlerless over the counter after the draw.

I work right next to the office and for me it was the fact of saving the mailing charge for the ministry and the extra administration charge for the phone in service for me. It turns out to be all a political money waste (like usual). I am still wondering what kind of seal they will send for this cable tie they handed me. Oh well Liberals and there consultants at there best..........

only thing that really bothers me about this whole new process is that EVERY Service Ontario should be able to do tags. not just special ones... Only one in Ottawa is downtown and not open weekends. very freaking convenient!

Did it over the phone for many years until this year where I did it online. I dont' think I was ever charged extra.

I bought my tag and applied for the antlerless draw online the other day. It was fairly quick and quite simple. You print out a reciept and verification number at the end when you're done.

It use to be a 3 dollar administration fee. Don't know if it is still in effect but the prompt should warn you before you give your credit card information.

I did my antlerless draw entry on the internet in about 3 minutes. Didn't cost me a penny plus I got to print out a receipt saying I have entered for my WMU.

No fuss, no muss, easy as pie. And I did it late at night even.
