Yeah. Took it to the range yesterday and I love it. As accurate as I am and took all the ammo I had with only 2 misfires.

200 rounds. And I'm also happy with the 2 misfires because I was shooting Canadian BDX remanufactured ammo do I figured I'd be dealing with a lot more misfires

Also, what do you consider a 'misfire'? I hear that 1911's can have some trouble with JHP's as the ramp was designed for FMJ a century ago.

First time the rounds wouldn't completely load. I loaded the round into the magazine again and it actually fired.

I guess it was a failure to load and not misfire

"misfire" is when cartridge is fully load in chamber and the firepin hit primer, but fail to ignite the powder to discharge the bullet.

FTF - fail to fire
FTL - fail to load
FTE - fail to eject/extract

Id be very surprised if your failures had anything to do with the BDX ammo. Ive shot several thousand rounds of that in the past year and the only malfunctions I experienced were due to light strikes when I was playing around with light hammer springs in my Sig. Great ammo, and in my experience just as good or better than most factory ammo.
