Howdy,

I am reloading 7.62x39 for my Mini. I am looking for a bulk supplier of bullets. I can buy local for $25-30. I don't mind that for hunting stuff but I want cheap plinkers. FMJ is just fine. Any ideas?

Check the EE. or one of the many site sponsors above. I've bought from Budget Shooter Supply in Surrey BC with no regrets. They have .311 Berry's bullets for $17/100 and .310 Hornady V-Max for $23.50/100

I believe that the .311's are not jacketed and will load only to 1700fps. I can get the V-Max or equivalent for the same here on the island.

Got to ask why you would load plinking rounds when you can buy completely loaded FMJ for less than the cost of the bullets alone?

I shoot a Ruger Mini 30. Can't use caustic primers. Can't shoot FMJ with steel inserts in July and August at my two ranges. Don't even know if the steel cases will feed nice in a Ruger or do any damage. I reload everything else so why not this?
