So not really a super high round count, but 17,000 is the recommend change up for the 92 FS locking block and decided to do a full spring swap as well.

Overall she seems to be holding up well, a few points of contact where the bruntion finish has worn off. The locking block looks fine, I looked at it with a magnifying glass and I did not see any issues but did the swap. The hammer strut and sear looked new compared to a M9 with 100 rounds through it.

Compare the compression on the recoil spring. New one on the bottom.

A couple hints when replacing the springs on the slide, tear it down inside a freezer bag if you plan on keeping the old springs. ;)

Those frame rails look quite new! Do the frame rails indicate signs of wear by colour like they do in the Sig alloy pistols?

That's neat - I just changed the recoil spring on mine this week too, also a guide rod because the old one had play in the pin that holds it together. Installed the wolff replacement trigger spring at the same time. I do not think I have 17,000 rounds through mine (was guessing more like 10K) but not certain.

Like yours, my old recoil spring was also noticeably shorter.

Since changing that recoil spring mine now does not like to cycle low pressure rounds as well as it used to but otherwise she runs good.

Good work
