Non-Restricted ACR Barrels...

Dang. Can others get added to that list in case those people can't cough up the coin for the rifle?

The standard handguard covers most of the gas block... the "enhanced" version rail is shorter and the gas block sits out past the end of the rail.

I'm not sure about the Gravel "Canadian" version of the gun but it does look longer than the enhanced handguard version we had as part of our first shipment.

You can clearly see the differnce on the Bushmaster website:

Cool, thanks. Not a huge deal, I'd rather the enhanced version for the folding stock and quad rail anyways, was just curious.

I was under the impression that it's the standard aluminium hand guard for the "Canadian" version (just with a fixed vs. folding stock), but if it's longer that's an added bonus for the NR barrel. We'll know in a week or so in any event...
 
Anyone have an recommendations to coat the questar SS barrel black in greater vancouver area?
 
It's so weird that the free loctite guy hasn't shown up yet to tell us how this is a crime against humanity and that this is a really big deal, just like he does on every drama related thread.
 
just got the 6.8 barrel in the mail today for my AR build. grate work! gas block on my caliper is .75000! i added the 6.8 bolt to my carryer and fits perfict. better then the original.
cant wait to get the rest of my gun built. once i get some rounds through it i will post more. thanks questar!

This thread is about ACR barrels. Not AR barrels.
