If the search function didn't suck on this site maybe threads like this wouldn't happen...much.

I agree. Should be a sticky about slide fire stocks, LAR 10 mags, bull pup rifles/stocks. 9mm rounds in a .40 mag, shooting into space etc.

I was able to bring the bullpup version into Canada for my 50 cal select fire bolt action, works fairly well, recoil was lot easier to control than I have anticipates.
And yeah you will go through a lot of ammo, luckily I have the foresight to preload my LAR-50 pistol mags.

Now excuse me I am going to be late for my creative writing class.

is that the gun that you used to shoot into space?

RCMP Special Bulletin No. 72 should be stickied. It covers a lot of misconceptions.

Yesterday in my RPAL course the instructor told everyone restricted rimfire firearms have a mag limit of 10, regardless of whether they are rifles or handguns...

The laws are too complex for people to just know what is and is not legal. Even the guy doing it for 30 years doesn't have it all right...so why would the rest of us, or your average LEO for that matter...

Read the rules, laws, and regs. Print them. Keep them on your person whenever you're doing/using one of these things that people are confused about.

This is Canada, and under the Firearms Act you are guilty until proven innocent. By carrying the appropriate regulations, relevant FRT numbers for your scary non-restricteds, and above all being POLITE and informative, you can avoid being charged and finding out $10,000 and a chop-sawed gun later that you were right.

36 posts about people #####ing about a re-post. haha. Thats sad. I didn't know that many people here had no lives.
It takes me a split second to hit the back button on my browser if it's something I'm not interested in.

flame suit on

I have never heard of it. I think it would be fun. Not as fun as full auto but fun non the less. To bad it's illegal

I know many people making fun of this topic. But I would like to know whether it is prohibited or not also. I read all of the slidefire topic but unlike the lar mag issue none of discussions can confirm the legality of of the stock in Canada. I know many said it is prohibited but there is no proof of it. I need to know this because I know someone is actually willing to ship it to Canada and I am really thinking of buying it.

I have no idea what the regulations are on these.

You know that it's illegal to export a gun stock or any gun part or accessory from the US with out a export permit from the US right??

Prohibited. And I would not want to be on the receiving end of this when it's intercepted by CBSA/RCMP...

I honestly don't know what the deal is with the euphoria over this thing anyway. For starters, it's ridonkuously expensive for what it is - and it looks absolutely abhorrent. Second, your accuracy/control diminishes, and unless you're running a .22LR kit with a 50-round drum, the standard 5-10 round magazines seem, well - pointless...
