Where ya headed next? For real?

Some sweet hunts listed!!!!

Taking my daughter and her grandfather (71yrs young)north for moose, goat and griz in Sept. Exploring with a good friend in the Tien Shan mountains in October (might find time to zap another sheep or ibex, :D). Drew a whitetail bow tag for Kansas in November.....

good hunting all

Which Argali call the Tien Shans home?

I have a moose hunt planned for up in Nipigon this Fall but the big one that I'm looking forward to is the deer hunt in November. This year, I'm bringing my 9 year old son for the first time and my dad will be there, too.

They are in both China and Kyrgyzstan I think but primarily Kyrgyzstan.

So that's the correct way to spell "Kyrgyzstan".
Ya I had to dig out my copy of "The Great Arc of the Wild Sheep" and check it out. Tien Shans definately mostly in Kyrg. There has been a lot of discussion whether these are Marcos or Littledales or if they are one in the same with the Kyrgs being just a slightly smaller Marco subspecies, much the same as the Gobi and Hanghay. I have never really heard what the scientific outcome of this was, does anyone know for sure?
The Gobi and Hanghay are definately both Ovis Ammon Darwini but the Marco and Littledale I haven't heard the final outcome of these.

Dug this up to say that Mrs Dogleg, a lttle Cooper,15 pound vampire Bat:Slavex: and myself will be off to Oz tomorrow for what should be an 7 day pig shooting, donkey stomping, buffalo culling, barrel heating/stretching experience. :ar15:d:h::50cal:G:Wish me luck

You have a good trip, Dogleg. I was just about to PM you and say it must be getting close. Shoot a couple Oz gophers for me too.
And don't get too complacent with them Asian buff, they can wreck your day too!!

Perdiz and rabbits here in Colombia, and back to Alberta for a couple ducks and geese come late October... Due to an overseas work assignment I completely missed last year's Fall hunting season, so I'm pretty excited to just be going home!
