Nemesis 10 shots groups @ 300 metres... Pic.

All ready had talk with Jerry from Mystic for a 6X24X50 S111 with top elevation for 1K+ right now i got enough elevation for 800 metres but i am to the max, anyway past 800 metres my Nem is opening fast, this is why i will have a custon rifle build in a caliber like the Purple haze in 284 or 284 Shehane for up to a mile one like the one this Ballard guy used to set the record 13X-200 or a 110 BA in 300 mag could be an other option... JP.

Not sure how you feel about more recoil but the heavier 185 to 210gr bullets work SOOOOOO much better out to 1000yds then the 175's.

F TR is rapidly becoming a 185 and heavier game. Big kick but working on ways to make it better. IN SK bumpy air, it was so obvious who was shooting the heavies.

The Nemsis should have no issue stabilizing the heavies. Send some down range and see how it works for you. I think you will be very impressed with the ballistic improvements. The drop will be higher but the wind drift is obviously less.

Even if they shoot slightly bigger groups at 300m, they will stay far more stable out far in bumpy air.

There were plenty of 7's shooting in the Westerns but the FTR 308/heavies cleaned more relays (of course time of day played a role BUT....)

A 300RSAUM and 215's shot the highest V count.

No matter what rifle or which barrel, hummers come along once in a while. Treasure it and enjoy it cause there is no guarantee the next will be as good regardless of who builds it or what cal it is in.

top tier barrels just make this happen far more often but....not every BR match barrel shoots in the 0's and 1's.

Let me know on the scope. You will love the SIII 6-24X50 for LR plinking.
Jerry

I did exchange with Juan Valdez, and i left a message for Gaillard barrel, i may consider a stock Savage 110 BA in 300 mag as the reviews are excellents... JP.

Between the 2 groups i made a slight elevation adjustment, went 2 clicks down, 3 clicks would have been the right call... but did not touch the windage, now i realise that 2 clicks right would have put my groups completly in the black ( black dot is 1 and 1/8 inch in diameter), this Sightron scope really is precise like a swiss watch, i figured that the wind may have been up from 2 Km/hr to 3 Km/hr between the 2 groups, accuracy is so addictive and learning to read targets results is better than a good book... JP.

Caramel. That rifle shoots better than most customs, expect to part with it as once the word gets out that you have a zinger someone is going to want it, bad. That some fine shooting by anyones standards.

Guys i am working to get some time to go to a Ottawa meeting, being a grampa in the summer time ( no school ) is a FULL time job believe me... JP.

So that rifle/boolit/shooter is .2 MOA with a ten shot group? Do I have that right?
I sure hope you can free up some time from your grandkids to make it to one of the friendly shoots that have been proposed on here, caramel. I wish I lived closer so you could show me how to shoot/load like that.

Everyone shoots like that on the internet. If I had a dollar every time someone made the statement my rifle shoots 1/4 moa groups "When I do my part" I have yet to see someone back it up They either don't show up or make some lame excuse. Why are not BR shooters using this rifle and winning matches. I have yet to see one in competition either. Why build a custom rifle, I am sure he could win every match he attends with this thing. As far as I am concerned, this is a pile of horsesh1t. I would be the first one to admit I am wrong and gladly eat my words but taking what someone says on the internet as gospel is highly suspect.

This thread is going to turn into a sh$t show in 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...

Common gents, I read this forum for it's useful information on precision shooting, let's try to keep it clean!

That is simply amazing shooting especially considering it is off a bipod.
0.6 inch ten shot group at 300 meters off a bipod is something I would never be able to accomplish.

Well I try not to get involved but it seems like all your threads go to shir unfortunatly. Really I don't care if some one shoots .2 or 20 MOA as log as we have more shooters. So why not just take a video of yourself shooting and put an end to everyone's complaining ? :) you get to do somthing you love and the nay Sayers get to see it being done
