Only partially true. Few manufacturers INSIST it be done at regular intervals like Glock does. Unnecessary marketing me thinks... maybe to perpetuate the run forever myth?
Any tool with new or newer parts will run better than with used or worn parts. perhaps it is marketing, or just good common sense.
This is probably the most intelligent part of your entire post.
BINGO! There it is... the ever predictable POG comment comes out again.. in just about every thread where someone does not share TDC's point of view he feebly tries to degrade / belittle. What is truly known by "an individual who uses one for a living" is that if the firearm is not comfortable then the ability to shoot it well will be diminished. The full potential will never be obtained with that firearm because the individual will not frequent the range as often as they should with that firearm to truly become proficient with it. That is not only common knowledge but fact. How well can you *really* shoot with a poor cheek weld? Your reasoning seems to berate the likes of Jeff Cooper & Clint Smith but then again what do they know about a firearm being "comfortable" ?
I guess you could take the comment to the extreme. The point is, people who often ##### about comfort of a firearm are using it as a crutch for poor skill set. There is nothing uncomfortable about a Glock. The feel or grip angle may be (god forbid!) different than what a new or novice shooter is used to, but it is more than comfortable and ergonomic. the grip dimensions on standard size Glocks is no more and often less than other popular pistols.
This comment.. I just don't know. It's perhaps one of the most irresponsible, immature and bigotted comments I have ever read from you, and there have been several. (FYI: Bigot : a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices, especially one who exhibits intolerance or animosity toward members of a group. Bigotry may be based on real or perceived characteristics, including ###, ###ual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, nationality, region, language, religious or spiritual belief, personal habits, political alignment, age, economic status or disability)
You need to get out of your mom's basement more often and shoot more (but not at TSE, right?). How you have not been banned again is beyond me.
Sad, sad, sad.
Its ok, I'm entitled to my opinion just like you're entitled to yours. Its not a crime to be a bigot, or call it as I see it. Last time I checked, those with down syndrome were clearly labelled as DISABLED. I didn't label them, so who's the bigot now?
