I was lucky enough to purchase one of these wonderful revolvers on this site recently. I took it to the range for the first time today. It is the most accurate gun I own and I love it. The .40S&W is about the same as 9mm and the 10mm is a blast. Didn't have any .357Mag with me to compare but liked the 10mm anyway. The moonclips make loading fast but than you have to fight to get the rounds out of the clip. Can't figure out why S&W quit making this gun. It is a keeper for sure.

You my friend require the Brownells Demooning Tool (Stock #:352-197-100WB)!

Yes, they are nice. I wish I hadn't sold mine.

You can purchase a ''de-mooning'' tool to make removal of brass easier. Brownells probably your best bet.

Jimmie, you need to make a demooning tool. Get a piece of copper tubing or an old golf club that will fit fairly close over a 10 mm case. It only needs to be about 5" or 6" long. On the end that fits over the case, cut away most of the circumference leaving a tab to engage the moon clip. Slide the tool over the case, twist and the case will pop out.

I figured out that I need some kind of tool on the way back from the range. Thanks for the replys though, reinforces my thinking. Once you get the first brass out the rest are easier.

JimmieA you can also shoot your gun with 10mm and not use the moon clips. This is the way I use mine most of the time. If you keep your gun clean most of the empties will just fall out and the very few that don't I just keep a small piece of wooden dowel and poke them out. Just a thought that you might try.

I just recently bought one also, have not tried it yet. But I own a Colt Delta Elite and a Glock 20C, I must say, my Colt is the most precise (for me) to shoot with. Can't wait to try the revolver.
