If you want a KAC good luck on that. I have been waiting for a lower to come since January from this web site;

LoL!!!
I think either this company doesn't want my $$$ or that they would rather me go pound sand.
Personaly I think both but...

We just got DOS approval just over a week ago for the order we placed at SHOT ;) We are doing what we can.

We also have a number of the Cadex CDX 15 lowers in stock.

Yes, please do.

Comparing 2 top of the shelf lowers to a budget lower doesn't make sense to me. I know you want to promote your stuff but If a customer is looking for an Audi, don't suggest a Kia. The SR lower have more features, proven and doesn't look ridiculous. Call me a hater all you want, I don't care but so far I am not impressed with NEA quality.

I have my flame suit on. :shotgun:

No flame suit should be necessary, it is you're opinion and you have every right to make that statement. SR15 would be my number one choice, but the ATRS looks nice as well. Really KAC lower comes with everything you want out of the box and mostly if not all made by KAC minus the LMT SOPMOD stock.

If OST can get them in I would go with them and you won't bother looking back.

Grrglgrrrrgllgrrgll...Drool... I really like the ATRS lower... mainly for the right side bolt release... but, correct me if I am wrong, it is a billet lower, albeit from forged 7075 T6... not that that it is a bad thing.

Yes we make our uppers and lowers from a forged billet rather than a casting but from a 7068 T6511 alloy which is significantly stronger, has a higher tensile structure, less elasticity and hardens better than 7075 does.
Our tolerances are held much tighter than 99% of what is offered on the market.

IF it were me, which it will be by the end of the year with a slow build, take the advice and buy a matched upper/lower.

Freedom Ventures has the STI matched set.

Barring that, if lower only, no particular order,

- Cadex
- ATRS
- Palmetto
- Spikes/Aero Precission

All my stuff is Spikes right now.

Spikes and Aero Precision are basically the same.

The ones I listed are lowers that are somewhat within the same price range, except for Cadex, but can be sourced via local vendors/dealers on this site, and are mostly in stock.

What kind of build are you doing?

I would like to think no one uses a casting ;) but who knows, I suspect a few use a cast billet, but who wants to admit that.

Best I could figure, Norinco uses high quality MIM.

Castings were quite common in the 80s. Essential Arms and Olympic come to mind but I'm sure there were others.

If you dont mind me asking, what sort of issues have you had with your NEA stuff?

What does the other side of the ATRs lower look like? I can't find any pictures of the ambi mag release.
