Nemesis 10 shots groups @ 300 metres... Pic.

Well I try not to get involved but it seems like all your threads go to shir unfortunatly. Really I don't care if some one shoots .2 or 20 MOA as log as we have more shooters. So why not just take a video of yourself shooting and put an end to everyone's complaining ? :) you get to do somthing you love and the nay Sayers get to see it being done

did that with my 223 to a mile. Apparently, shooters are still debating this video and it has been years since it was posted. AND there were over 30 shooters watching that morning.

Either you believe or you dont. Not right, not wrong. Afterall, many will consider CNN "real"... or is it?

The key is that someone is burning powder and has the pursuit of accurate fire. That is the point of this whole forum and our sport.

For those who don't believe, just get out there and shoot your best groups then you have something to post and talk about too. If not as good, then you have room for improvement and growth.

For those that are actually shooting and trying to improve, good on you. Lead downrange is the ONLY way to get good at this sport. Shooting is a learnt skill and a perishable one at that.

The more you shoot, the better you should get.

As for that type of accuracy being a record, sorry, there are many F class rifle and F class shooters that can repeat that type of performance. Not saying it isn't great but, not otherworldly.

Our goal is to have a rig that will let us hold a 28mm circle at 300m on any given shooting day. That means, mechanically, the rifles have to hold sub 1" for 15rds.

Then the shooter has to learn to be equally good.

That's the challenge and the joy.... and the frustration.

Shoot to the accuracy of your rifle and you are already well on your way to being a very good shot.

YMMV.

Smelly Pete and EC, your doubting changes nothing about the shooter, the gear and the results. To believe there are no shooters capable of this kind of shooting, and no factory gear capable of this kind of shooting demonstrates a pretty narrow line of thinking.

Start shooting with better shooters and you will soon realize this happens a lot more than you think.

Caramel found the sweet spot in his rifle, why is that so hard to understand or even believe???

Wow, fantastic shooting and a crazy looking rig to boot. I just shot my new Rem 700 in .308 for the first time this weekend. I shot pretty much 2" down to 1.5" groups at 50M. Yeah, that is crap, but it was my first time with a precision rifle in a big caliber. I hope to be as good as you some day.

Good shooting is not rocket science, you have a good rig, learn to shoot when your lungs are completely empty, get used to shoot both eyes open, put a dummy round and dry fire often getting the feel of your trigger and never anticipate the shot, you will find a balance between pressure on your finger and the BEING SURPRISED ALL THE TIME BY THE TRIGGER, THAT DO FOR SUPER ACCURATE SHOOTING and that will eliminate the slightest flinching... Good shooting. JP.

....I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, the more shooters the better.

For the interrested shooters wondering why the Nem is so stable shooting from the bipod, the back claw is grabbing solid in the regular sandbag , after fully extended the front bipod suspension to the back, the rig just doest move anymore, it just lock solid, this bipod is more strurdy than a bag once locked this it is a very effective set up, you never loose your POI unless you take the rig of the ground... Took me a full shooting season to find what my factory Remington 700 Varmint to shoot okay @300 meters. Experimenting with about 8 different .308 handloads with the help of good optics and solid rings.

I believe your "claw" is actually a rail for a rear monopod.
