Third black one I have heard of & yes its probably the original stock. Does it still have a bayonet?

Comes with bayo but not matching. Stock matches everything else.

Fears confirmed. Its a bubba. A pretty bad paint job too.

The receiver was nice but barrel didnt look very good either. The guy is trying to sell it for 270 on firearms canada saying its a collector gun and not a shooter etc then when i spoke to him he says it shoots '5" to the left". Ok.

Oh well...the search continues or ill just grab a russian m44 from westrifle when they come

I think you are right. I had one too and it looked like it had been painted with laquer while assembled. Too bad, it was matching otherwise.
