Its called insurance for crop failure and you have to pay into it to recieve it. As for damage ask the farmers you hunt for how much they get. I can tell you, zero. The crown should pay all farmers for the damage her animals do to crops on private property or let me protect my crop. They should take the crop damage across the province, divide it buy the number of deer tags and that is the cost of the tag eg. 10 million in damage / 100000 tags = 100 a tag to go to a fund the damage done by the queens or your animals.
If you had a cow and it got into my corn crop and damaged it, I would be entitled to compensation from you. How is the queens or all of your( as you put it) animals different? She owns them, controls them, controls who hunts them, they are her property, so why is she not responsible for the damage caused by them?
I can see how some would think they are theirs. If they feed them and water them, let them use your bush for shelter, they are more of an owner then the queen or the guy that shows up with the queens tag to harvest them. I know everyone wants something for free but don't you think its time to pay the true cost of the sport you enjoy? If you want to hunt the queens land so be it, it is hers to do as with as she pleases.
I hate to burst your ####ing bubble, but bambi was around long, lonnnng before your great-great-great-grandpa turned the earth and planted some seeds....
