Don't you know?! This is CGN! Everyone on here is an expert gunsmith, knows everything about every firearm ever created, and can shoot an 8 inch plate at 300 meters with their PISTOL!

I'm not poking fun at you, merely stating that a lot of people on here have some ridiculous claims. As for the SCAR question, I also didn't know until reading this and doing a bit of looking around.

Just got to shoot a 223 scar at the gun store in Vegas today. 25 yard target . LOL. Yes and I would come up with the cash for one. Any for sale please pm me.

The place was blast , started talking guns with the range guy and he started bringing everything out for me to try.

Ok back on topic 308 would be cool but I would take one in 223 also.

300 yard pistol. Hahahahhahahahahhahahahahahahhshahaha. Back to the pool and drinks

The whole scar thing is like the type97 fiasco: a sore spot. A lot of people, just like you, imagined it was settled by now, but sadly, not.
