NEA's Report on NEA DMR

With handloads you should be able to bring that down substantially. Even with factory ammo most are shooting ~2MOA.

I'm trying to put together a "recipe book" of pet loads that customers have run up on our various barrels. If you come up with something you really like, please share.
 
I finally got to take my DMR out to the range to bench today. It has a few upgrades like the stock, and a PWS comp. Glass is a Redfield 4-12. Sitting on a GG&G heavy Duty Bipod and some sandbags. Otherwise bone stock. Just shooting factory ammo today.

I'm by no means an expert on the AR or .223, but I'm working with hand loads, hornady steel match, and federal tactical as well. Both my hand loads and steel match will shoot around 1 to 1 1/2" consistently, but the federal opens up to 4" every time.
 
I'll try and get some handload data. Some of our customers in New Zealand have really tuned these things up with home loads. Some guys are posting 3/8" groups.

Someone's shooting .30 cal at your targets?

How's that non-restricted project coming? d:h:
 
Ahhh… is there perhaps going to be a point in time where NEA doesn’t take over tiriaq’s thread and we actually get to see his impressions with the barrel? I was promised a long term test with a comparison to other barrels…
