A 180 class whitetail??? There's hundreds of those in the book, why's this even an issue?
Never heard of the King buck, probably because it's not worth mentioning.

The issue is that if the points in question were considered typical points it would be a new World record.

IMO the guy shouldn't be whining so much about it and be glad he harvested a trophy. It all comes down to money, a new world record means a lot of money for the hunter. It has been reported that Milo was taking in over 200K a year plus expenses for appearing at shows.

Not necessarily. The unofficial score beating Hanson's by 1/8" was from one B&C scorer. A panel scores potential top 10 heads, so there's a very good chance the score would be different.
