Moose Hunting Area 5 Shut Down?

Just reading this on another forum, if you're planning on moose hunting Area 5 or generally just concerned, check this out:

Not the first time they have tried this.

The very recent supreme court decision that the Chilcotin DON"T own the land in that region means that there will not only be moose hunters in that area but also logger and miners.

According to some Carriers I have spoken to the Chilcotin - who descend from coastal tribes - are actually interlopers in that area after squatting in traditional Carrier and Northern Shuswap territory years ago.
 
interesting thing here .... on the map where they claim THEIR territory , it directly overlapps with a couple other bands ( possibly many many more ) yet i don't see any of those bands signatures on that piece of paper .....

as for the timber they are griping about , much of it has been dead for well over a decade .
