Best flashlight for AR?

I love Viking mount, is the best you can get, or can't.

If this is for a build down the road pick up one of the new 500 lumen handheld SF Fury's and mount it.

Unfortunately SF states the Fury and X-type handheld flashlights are not for weapon-mounted applications.

The G2 is designed as a handheld as well but it functions fine as a weapons light....I wouldn't worry about it. Some recent AARs from courses in the US have guys using the Fury as a weapons light without any issues.

I have an old Surefire 6P mounted at 6 o'clock in an Elzeta mount.

Some recent AARs from courses in the US have guys using the Fury as a weapons light without any issues.

They must've converted their Fury(s) into single output operation, there's a DIY procedure for that. Or using the Fury Defender.
