Nikon M-223 and 308 scopes in Kanada?

Nikon Canada seems to be an elusive bunch to get hold of regarding being able to get "Black rifle" scopes like the Nikon M 223 series.

Has anyone here seen any of these scopes here in Canada anywhere?

I have one M223 3-12x42SF very nice scope, Nikon Canada will not bring them into Canada.

Thanks for mentioning them I (and I'm sure others) aren't aware of anyone who does bring them in. It looks like Nikon Canada is mostly about cameras.

I have been talking with Nikon Canada for a couple of years about the tactical models in their line up. I have handled the scopes at the Shot Show and expressed my interest and that of Canadian consumers for them but as of yet not seen them. There have been some internal shake ups in Nikon Canada and my info is that some of the models may be coming this year. There will be a person working in Nikon Canada specifically to develop the Sport Optics division within Canada and we should see some effort at improving access to some of the models not previously seen. In the past Nikon Canada was primarily intereseted in cameras but that has changed.... I have an excellent rep from Nikon Canada and they work hard at expanding the line. They were present at Huntfest Edmonton and sent significant business to our booths. Phil.
