CCI quiet 22

It's louder than CB shorts but much quieter than CCI standard. I've never shot it inside or fired a Diana 24 so I can't offer any suggestions.

Yes I bought a brick of them a few weeks back. Out of my CZ452 Lux, it is louder than the Diana 24 I had, and louder than the Diana 26 I have now (in a basement). The CB Long's are quieter but less accurate. It's not that the Quiet is "loud", more that low powered spring piston air rifles are just really quiet.

Sooo, do you think your neighbours can hear those 22 quiets when you shoot them in the basement?

i just bought some from cabelas. These and the shorts were the only cci 22LR left.Ill try them out on the weekend

I use them in my stevens crackshot. Very quiet. I am not sure what I would try to take with them. I think the subsonics at 1000 fps are better for small game than the quiet at 750+/- fps.

I highly doubt it. They are still pretty quiet. I'm sure I've had an airgun at one point which was as loud or louder - and I've never owned one that shot more than 800 fps or so.
Low powered spring guns are generally very quiet. The low powered pneumatics and CO2 pistols I've had are louder and fire with a bit more of a "pop". A low powered pre-charged pneumatic pistol using high pressure air has a more high pitched "pop" or "crack" to them. IMO I'd compare the CB long to a spring gun and the CCI Quiet to a 10m competition PCP pistol.

I successfully shot a raccoon with a neck shot at 15 yards(head was behind a tree) without waking anyone at 5:30 in the morning. Accuracy is suprisingly good with this ammo.
