Who shoots a CZ rifle

Just got a CZ 527 in .223, still waiting for a scope for it, very nice fit and finish and nice wood. Had a CZ .17 HMR, can't remember if it was a 452 or 453? Sold to a friend, prefer to reload my ammo. It shot sub MOA, preferred CCI over Hornady ammo.
Had a Sako .270 once with full wood, not my thing any more, bit too Euro. Cheers Roscoe

I own the 550 full stock in 308, shoots sub moa with junky ae ammo. Also have a 527 in 223 that get the same groupings. Top notch rifles, both are in my never sell safe. Only pia is getting rings

i have handled and shot a 550. got to play with a FS 452. i have a 452 american and a 513 farmer.
i gotta say CZ is my favorite gun company. my new biggame rifle is going to be a 550 30-06 kevlar.
buy one and you wont regret it

I am a 6.5x55 and7x57 fanatic Euro looking is ok for me.

I have had a CZ550 FS in 9.3X62 for a while and its very well made and an excellent shooter. Quality of workmanship is much better than I'm used to seeing on my American - made rifles.

I have a couple of the rimfires and wouldn`t hesitate to bring home a centerfire if i have the chance. Not crazy about full length stocks but that is a personal like or dislike.

I have 2 CZ 550 FS one in 9.3X62mm and the other in 7X64mm.
High quality, acceptable accuracy, 100% reliable. You could hunt every species in the world with these 2 rifles quite well.
I too like the FS version as I have a special love for full stock carbines, these are just 2 of the 6 long stocks I have, but are 2 of the best shooters of the works.
I took a huge old bull walrus with the 9.3 last summer and it did a superb job with 270 gn speers.

Very nice rifles, I have a 550 safari classics in 375 HH, laminated stock, beautiful rifle. One of my favorites, I dont think you would be disapointed with a CZ.

Not keen on fullstocks myself either but currently shoot a leftie CZ452, CZ527
and a pair of CZ85 pistols in 9mm and 22lr. The pistols are ambidextrous and CZ was really easy to get lefties. They all live in my "keep till I am gone" safe. Beautfully made and I too find them better made and looking than most US rifles. Reliable, accurate and a joy to look at and shoot. My Ruger 77 not so much. Closest I see around now in US brands is the new Browning Xbolt but they are Miroku made so another fave. Say what you will I like the Jap quality.
Have a 308 and 30-06 on order but would have bought CZ550s in a blink if they made them in leftie. The Browning is close enough.

My 452fs can't be beat, will never sell that thing. When it comes to center fire it's either the 550 or Winchesters model 70, browning close behind. IMO anyway, #1 those czs are heavy so it depends what you're doing with it I guess

I have a 9.3 x 62 in the 550 Medium and love it. I had the FS in a .270. I hunted with it but sold it as the FS was not for me.

I've got a ZKK 6.5x55 (predecessor of the CZ550) that I've never shot.

Nobody else has either except maybe someone at the factory to see if it goes bang.

Going to the range soon.

I use the CZ 550 LUX in .270win. Its a great rifle and with no scope I was getting 2" - 1.5" 3 shot groups at 100 yards. (91 meters) I hope to get a scope for it soon but It looks as though i'll be using Irons this hunting season. Although, this isen't really a big problem since the iron sights are so nice on this rifle. One thing to note, I don't know about the CZ rifles with detachable magazines, but mine is fixed, and the plate and follower are both plastic. From what I hear, CZ will send you metal plate and follower if you so desire to have it changed. I can't say its true since I haven't even tried. Putting a scope on the rifles with Bavarian stocks seems to be difficult for many. They put a stupid massive scope with high rings on it only to find out that they can't even get a good chin weld. So what you need is .480" high rings, Burris and CZ make them, and get a scope with only a 32mm lense or smaller. Nikon makes a nice Monarch 2-8x32. Thats what I plan to put on mine. Thats what my friend uses on his and you still get a nice check weld and the bolt clears it by at least and inch.

This is my CZ 550. Waiting a long time to be able to afford it, but it was well worth the long wait. I have plans for a CZ 527 FS in .223 and a CZ 455 FS in .17HMR. Possibly a CZ 550 MC in 9.3x62 if they even make that.
