Best 308/7.62 Black Rifle?

Oh you were already thrown under that bus. Let's be honest if you are posting about the "black rifle" FNAR ie Fudd rifle with training wheels then it had to happen.
Laugh2

Do I detect a lover's quarrel?

Oh no I just went there!!!
d:h:

I'm torn here guys: M14 or FNAR? Both are NR. The FNAR gets 1.5 MOA out of the box (shooter dependent), whereas the M14 requires some work before hitting 2 MOA.

Questar- site sponsor.

Thanks :).

Also ive read that the FNAR gets 1.0 MOA or better out of the box.

Now my main question is the Keltec RFB or the FNAR? Ive shot the RFB and loved it, but this FNAR looks like a steal at the price. Just need to find out if anyone in the GTA area or near silverdale range to fire a few rounds and get a feel for the rifle, but after seeing additional mags costing 125 bucks, i dont know about this rifle. I thought FAL mags were expensive here for $50-60.

Unless the mag system is proprietary, I don't see why AR10 mags couldn't be used.

EDIT: Damn, I guess the mags are proprietary.

This thread right here is the real shame that the AR10 is restricted. There are few semi autos as accurate as the AR10. Plus it just looks really cool.

It's not a black rifle per se, but a non-restricted M1 Garand tanker copy in .308 is a very reliable piece of kit. Also can be fitted with a scout scope. The only issue is finding one in Canada. One nice feature is those en bloc 'clips' can be easily located.

But you do know that there are a select few non-restricted AR-10's out there right:stirthepot2:

All be it very hard to get a scope with a good check weld compared to those flat top versions:pirate:

For non restricted 308 fun, I recommend the FNAR. I have one, bought it back when it was $2000. $1600 is definitely worth it. It's got an accuracy rating of 1moa with factory match ammo. I've managed to get 2 1/8 at 200 yards 5 shot groups consistently with it. Definitely worth its price.

Breakdown is a little more complicated than a milspec rifle and you do need some tools. But if your not a retard, it's really not that hard to do or not time consuming. You just have to run a few more screws than usual.

When I bought my gun, I found a video showing the breakdown. Have a look.

Oh, and AR10s do look awesome. It truly is a shame there restricted. I'd have one in a heartbeat.

Says the guy that's always inviting me to his pink house.

Hey those "parties" where no one else showed up were completely legit. :D

Yes Satain I'm very jealous of that AR10 you have. I would love to own one of those as well.

The M14 needs work to hit 2.0moa alright, you got to put a scope mount on it. :D

Mine will do 3 moa all day long with the stock irons. Good enough to explode gatorade bottles at 100yards.

I think it's pretty good for a $500 rifle.

I think u should expand your list and read some law too. Non-restricted/ restricted/ prohibited does not apply to anyone other than gov and it's agents.
Read sec.32 charter of rites and freedoms, send gov letter telling them to put money were there mouth is because u will drag them before court of queens bench and watch how they scurry away like roaches when u turn on the lights.

Not looking for models, but I'm actually wondering which of the following 308/7.62 black rifles is worth every dollar paid for the gun.

The list therefore is:

-FN FNAR: $1600
-Rob Arms XCR: $2600
-Kel Tec RFB: ?

And reccommend any others I may have missed.
(No- I don't consider the M14 a black rifle.)

What are your intended use for it?

Sounds like a FREEMAN!
