Stack on safe

Bought a stack on 14 gun cabinet from tsc, with a little black box they claim us a handgun safe. Is that considered adequate for handguns?
I think there's already a thread on this somewhere.
There was some debate about the small unit being called a 'cabinet' and therefore not in the same class as a 'safe'. I don't know if that holds any water though. Of course, they should be good enough to use in conjunction with an additional locking device on each handgun.

It is not a safe but a locked cabinet so as above you need a lock on the pistol as well. I have one bolted to the wall with 4 handguns trigger locked in it. Perfectly legal
