Recommendation for Improvements on NEA rifles & Company.

One car in their line is over priced and that makes them high end?
I don't have that kinda money, if I did I'd buy a car from
A company that doesn't also sell cars for 12000....
I really don't understand u calling me a bubba, when you are defending Korean built cars as high end and essentially unfinished rifles as worthwhile....
Bro your're clueless, in a dream world apparently?

Well, I've got two NEA's and both of them work great.

My rifles are tools for hunting and competition. I use my NEA's for both. I couldn't care less about chatter marks that only really show up in digital photos. The rifles are accurate, and run flawlessly. That is all that matters.

I didn't like the trigger pull in my first rifle, but two minutes work and some JP springs later, I'm fine with the result.

Can't see what all the fuss is about from so many of these comments. But we're happy for you guys to keep putting your fellow Canadian's off so we can get more of them here. We'll take every spare AR at a reasonable price we can get down here. :p

NEA or Not Everyone Agrees and leave it at that.

Wow what a waste of time! You paid $1000ish! What did you expect? It's funny how the people who eat at McDonalds always comment on how ####ty their food was but take the same person to a steak house!!!!! And all is good?

Fit and finish - operation - final product..... Has anyone asked for exactly what they want while at the order desk?

My one and only suggestion is for NEA to raise their prices just to keep the babies from purchasing lol.

I just read all of the pages prior to my post and remind me why I even bother to look at the black and green rifle forum? Canadiangunnutz.com right? Or is it Canadianguntards.com. Come on!

If you don't like the product, just move on and buy what you do like.
Its very simple, I don't understand why CGNers need to complain about every thing.

You don't even have enough money to pay attention, I bet.

I said that the only modern company I can think of that has "re-branded" themselves from a manufacturer of cheap, disposable things into a manufacturer perceived as manufacturing mid-priced, valuable things is Hyundai.

What you said was "HURR DURRR....LOL...this guy thinks Hyundai is "high-end".....HURR....don't listen to him......HURR DURRRRRRR DURRRRR".

There is no doubt in my mind that we are our own worst enemy.

We're like crabs in a pot. Instead of pushing the smart one's out to go and do different things, we drag them back in because we don't want to see them succeed.

That and the fact that gun owners like to complain about everything and are generally cheap as hell and most can't be ever be bothered to join one of our gun rights orgs or write and damn letter to their MP, and you can begin to see why we're so screwed up.

My point is that they are still cheap disposable cars, doesn't matter what Hyundai "says" they are, same with NEA rifles did NEA not compare their rifles to LMT at one point on this board?

And that part u paraphrased of me talking ( at least the real writing) I'd stand by and is absolutely correct.

Too bad this thread got turned into what it is.

We're always available to speak with, if ANYONE has any suggestions, concerns, complaints, or recommendations about anything we do or manufacture.. contact us. We're easy to get in touch with. We all have our phones at hand for emails or calls. Anytime.

If anyone wants to contact me direct shoot me a line at dave@northeasternarms.com I'm always available.

I think the biggest improvement for NEA would be to add a non-restricted AR-180 chambered in .308 to their line up.

I don't think you have been paying attention to what is happening in the auto industry and it doesn't have anything to do with what Hyundai "says".
What Mr. Spectacular said is correct, Hyundai has repositioned how they are perceived. He never said Hyundais are high-end cars, you said that.

I think this would be an awesome idea, but I think first they need to keep working on their existing line and polish up in a few areas first.

There customer service seems great...and what they offer on paper is awesome. Besides the obvious areas that have been covered, they are doing a lot of things right. I have not had a lot of time behind any of there guns but they are great package when they are working out of the box. Those were my observations.

The overwhelming majority of our products have zero issues. Those that do we address immediately. No one likes having product go out the door that's not 100%, but it happens. We just have to sort these issues out as they pop up. Having our customers speak with us about the product or issues helps us improve.

Every run of every product is improved upon over the last. We just need to make sure that old stock stays in the dungeon so people only see what is current and expected. Nothing sucks more than a piece or two getting out that shouldn't have and then people take it as current. It quickly erases all the hard work that has been done.

Well the NEA I recently got to play with was pretty nice and worked well. I put just under 500rds through her and it performed as expected.

Yup, they sure did. Told us all that there would be $1000 Canadian made ARs that would be in line with LMTs specs. A little over a year ago now. I believe this sums up their problems... I don't mind Huyndia, I just don't want to be told it is a BMW.

I believe comments like this that I have seen Dave(NEA) make, some of which are detailed in this very thread, are what have caused threads like this one. I am left with nothing but to be sceptical as to what is said here, I am forced to do my own research, and sometimes it does not match up with what I am being told here.

NEA wont be honest and truly man up for its short comings because greed is in the way, plain and simple.

Shilling.

Editing of people threads after having them moved to his own area.

Hiding post completely.

I can only assume with good reason NEA will say and do anything to make a sale.

I'll consider his unwillingness to reply to any of my post just a confirmation of stated points.

I'm an outside observer alike most in this, and seeing a new company with so much conflict going on......something is seriously not right and to be avoided.

Just looking at the facts.

I don't know much about AR's let alone own one, but on paper they look pretty comparable to high end products. Just the fit and finish seem the be the problem now. They aren't as pretty as LMT that's not even a debate. I think the problem is people expected superb fit and finish and comparable quality at 1/3 the price of high end products. Wake up, not gonna happen. As with cars, and most things in life actually, you can only choose 2;

-Fast
-Reliable
-Cheap
