Actually there's 2 different rifles there. Red's has the ACS on it, and I have the stock SOPMOD on mine. Only one pic of it though, as I took pics while Big Red was painting, but he was busy with reassembly while I was painting mine.

My phone died before I could get the money shot, but Red got it on his, so he will have to post it.
 
Yeah, I'll admit it's the worst in the series. It was just what was at the top of the gear box when I was digging for a part.
 
I am likely going to paint my AR only in flat black krylon so all the components are the same shade of black. does anyone know if you can strip the paint off of plastic components??
 
Great stuff. It is terrific to see guys having fun with their guns and sharing it with everyone on cgn. A welcome change to break up the "you should learn how to use a phone to complain" and the "I think all guns should be hugged and not altered" comments.

I love the effect the net has on the paint.... I just have to make up my mind as to what gun to paint and I have to get the balls to go ahead with it.

Can you put up a couple more shots of each when you get a chance?
 
I'm not "that" guy, but I do have a question.

Did you paint these at a range? Cause isn't it against the law to have your restricteds outside the dwelling. Since your not transporting it under your ATT that is?


Oh, and they look great by the way. Wanna do a SR-22 for me in black and red!? :D
