don't take it personal major sights this place is full of DB's willing to jump all over you for one post and will infer whatever context they want. to the OP looks nice carry on and perhaps in the future i will have some pics to compare.

Cheers,

Im standing in my garage with my "Airsoft" rifle as we speak.

Mind you Im not wearing anything except for a thong, and wearing backwards.

So I have no where to put my ATT.

ok, last time I am going to post here. Sorry to derail this thread, but I did simply ask a question, I didn't presume you did this on your property I asked if you did it on a range. I mean re-read my original post, but try to understand, that I know very little about the resctricted laws and procedures (I only have PAL). I was simply asking a question.Cause I was thinking "Damn, that must suck to pack all your gear up and take it to the range just to paint it.". Saying that you had special permission to work on your stuff on your property outside would have answered the question now wouldn't it? I am sorry that I am a hope for the best, and expect the worst kinda guy. And if you think I am a douchebag still, then guess what. I don't f**king care. I will never meet you, nor would I want to at this point.

The guns do look great though, I don't think I could ever do something that cool looking to my firearms with out messing something small up on it. Which would probably hate the mod for the rest of the time I owned it.

Major Sights,

I don't post a lot anymore but you tweaked something in me with your posts in this thread. You have been here long enough and have enough posts, you can no longer play the naive card. Bottom line - if you had to ask if he did paint at the range, means you had doubt. So when you immediately then state "..cause isn't it against the law to have your restricteds outside the dwelling" there is a massive implication that he was breaking the law if he wasn't, not much wiggle room.

You could have worded it a lot better but you didn't. The way you did was unclassy, to say the least, hope you learn from it.

You are calling out a member to confirm they followed the law. Who the f**k are you to assume they didn't? Of course they did we are the law abiding ones who follow the administrative nightmare to legally own firearms in this country. Why are you trying to trip someone up on a technicality?

Do you really think CGN is the home of gang bangers? Do you really think we are the ones who follow no laws, have no permits and shoot people for the smallest slight.

Major Sights you are not part of the community you are a pariah to it.

I am sure you wake up every morning and look at yourself in the mirror and think "I am not a dickwod" but you certainly quack like one...

This.

BigRed is an industry pro, a patriot, a veteran, a brother and a valued resource here at CGN.

Who the f**k knows you here?

F**k off back to whatever troll hole you crawled out of. The man puts foot to ass for this country since about 2004 and you call him on a video game cover?

Stinks of full retard.

'nother thread, 'nother dog pile.

Lol.....####.

Looking good guys, I really like the one on the bottom, the contrast in colours looks like it would really break up the footprint of the weapon at a distance, AND in most environments. Well done!

What colours /brands of paint/method did you use, how did you prep it etc?

Thx

The prep was liberal applications of Brake Cleaner.

The paint was Rustoleum and Krylon camo systems with a little hunters specialties thrown in for variety. There was a light loam green, OD, Dark Brown, Tan, and some black.

Red used a random freehand technique for his, using multiple colors in the base coat. Then throwing the mesh over it and putting contrasting colors on through the mesh. His was the rifle you like more

I prefer to use one lighter color for a complete base coat, and then use randomly torn stencils for the contrasting colors, followed by a little freehand for fill. Then I take a light and dark color and hold them about 24 inches away from the rifle and spray them together, to soften the pattern. I might have gotten a little too soft, but I think it looks ok. Mine is the top one that you don't like as much.

Hope that helps
