Should I be wary of this deal?

Well I sent him an EMT after I said I'll take it  after a brief look at his account and feedback, but after reading this thread I quickly logged into my online banking and cancelled it! Phew! I was typing at a speed of 1200 words per minute lol. Just glad I got to it before he did!! He gave me an address and phone number and when I looked it up on googlemaps it was a business section in Richmond clearly not a residential area and when I called his number I got some jewlery store!!! I PMed him after I cancelled the EMT that I want to call him and if that was his home # (there also was an extension) but no reply and this was a while ago. Too bad the pics got deleted I was going to call the CFC with the SN and see if the gun matched the name he game me.

Good work, guys! Nice job staying vigilante! Definitely pays to look at when and by who the feedback was posted.

Me too I saw this add. I was interested until I saw his feedback..... And I told myself that it was probably a scam.

When it's to good to be true, Then it's probably a scam.

too good to be true...good thing you checked. i always like the phone number and a honest convo with the other side doing the selling. f it...not worth the risk to save 50 bucks

Where was the seller based out of? A number of handguns including a few glocks were stolen from Jo Brooke firearms in Brandon. If he's near the Brandon/Winnipeg area in Manitoba I would definitely inform the rcmp as this could be a matter if public safety. I know it sounds a little crazy but better safe than sorry.

He told me he was in BC, but anything coming from him can't be taken as credible, so who knows.
