I lost the tripod adaptor cover off of my Vortex binos. I sent an email to Vortex Canada asking how I could get another. Within 5 minutes of sending the email I got a reply saying they were sending me one. That's great customer service.

This spring I lost a windage/elevation cap on the Vortex Red dot scope I just bought from Grouse River Outfitters. I was worried about how hard it would be to get one so I emailed Grouse River and they said no problem there's a lifetime warranty and they'd contact Vortex. A few days later I received 2 caps from Vortex Canada in the mail for free!

Outstanding service!!!

It makes me smile to see this kind of service, yet makes me frown to think that it's so rare that it becomes noteworthy...

Vortex is on my Xmas list... not sure *which* xmas, but it's there...

I had vortex send me a new mount for my sparc. No bs just great service. I'll buy more vortex products based soley on my positive experience. Like a 2nd sparc for my 590a1 spx? Yes....yes.

Glad to hear the positive comments, my Vortex should be here this week from Grouse River.
So far it has been a very enjoyable purchase.

Dont know much about Vortex ... But Grouse river is a good out fit. They sent me a $2000 G7 range finder. Told me to try it for a couple months... Dont like it ? Send it back !

Turns out its unreal for the money. not vectronics, but amazing to 2000 yards.

They really stand behind there products.

I have positive experience with Grouse River as well. See here

I'd never heard of Vortex. I'm pretty new. Today someone from Epps recommended a Vortex scope over email to me. I'm headed up there tomorrow. I will certainly consider it seriously given these comments.

Sounds like it would be a good company to support if they treat their customers that well on warranty service.I like their 10x50 monocular for mid range deer or turkey hunting just got to try hands on before I buy one.

I also opted for vortex viper line (Japanese rather than from China/Philippines like the diamondback line) 4-16x44 Viper HS.

I chose it because when researching I heard nothing but amazing comments from everyone who has needed warranty service, with many reports of them not even asking just replacing parts for free.

The optics compared favorably with the Zeiss conquest line as far as I could tell, and even Zeiss/Leica/Swarovski had complaints about how warranty service was handled.

It has only killed paper so far, but Moose season opens in a few days.

Cant say enough about both Vortex and Grouse River..Excellent customer service and selection.

Have a Vortex Viper on my 30-06...just a beaut...pretty..pretty...pretttttyy nice

Another +1 for Vortex Support. I bought a Strikefire off another CGN'r and it had a slight defect when it arrived to my house, I just went straight to Vortex Customer Support and within 5 days of shipping it to them they just sent me a brand new one. No charge.

Hurray!

I have had great luck with all my vortex products and am very pleased with them. I have heard nothing but good things about their warranty service and customer support. I have read up on the VIP warranty and everything that I read is that they repair or replace damaged items no questions asked.
My question is do they do that only for mechanical issues or do they do the same for cosmetic damage? Ie. a dropped and marked up scope..

Im thinking of buying a diamond back 3x9x40 for my 30-06 browning,as i seen here it seems that it would be a good choice, has anyone ever had any problems with vortex.
