Mini range report
Ok, just came back. Spent about 2 hours with this rifle. I've had PMC boxed ammo, Russian surplus and Romanian surplus ammo with me. PMC ammo ran like a charm, not a single issue, which is was expected. I moved to Russian ammo. After about 25-30 rounds I've got a light strike. Cleared it and after another 30 rounds or so another one. This one was tough to clear, I had to pull charging handle very hard back to extract the round. Romanian ammo almost the same percentage of light strikes, but no problems with extracting round like the Russian ammo. I didn't experience any FTF or FTE. In total I've had about 300 rounds of surplus and about 10-12 light strikes. Accuracy wise I didn't have much time to test it since I got a little preoccupied with those light strikes. at 50 meters with eotech I was getting 1 cm groups with surplus ammo, about 1-1.5 inch at 100 meters. Was very windy today as well. Overall, I am very happy with it. It's nice to feel the same trigger and geometry, but shoot cheap ammo. AR absorbs 7.62 recoil very nicely, Romanian rounds where the hottest followed my Russian and PMC. I am going to to research this light strikes in AR and try to fix it for the next test. I will also bring a scope to test it at 200 and 300 meters next time.
