Just got my PAL in the mail, one quick question

On the paper that came with it my number was 8 digits and on the card it has those 8 digits followed by .0001. Which do I used when buying online? thanks for the help

You can use just the 8 didgits or use them all.

Its for the RCMP. The fact that its empty is your proof that there are no special conditions placed on your license. The RCMP may want to see it if ever they check your PAL. Better to have it on you and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

.0001 just means it's you first licence card issued.

If for example you lost this card, the one the CFC re-issues would be .0002.

When you renew that one it would be .0003.
