Got myself a Ruger MK3 22/45 with attachment rails and red dot.

been trying to sight that in and neglected the GSG for a good couple months.

Took the GSG and Ruger both out to range yesterday and was reminded how much fun the GSG is.

i like the Ruger, but LOOOOVE the GSG.. I can be more accurate with GSG with regular sights.

Ruger's been 100% reliable shooting Federal bulk, about 500 rounds so far
GSG... some fail to eject every few magazines, but overall very reliable.

I find the federal bulk sooooooooo spotty with my GSG. One box I went through last weekend turned the my GSG into a single shot quite a few times. There just wasn't enough "umphf" to cycle the slide to eject the spent casing. Not even a stovepipe jam! I then put 150rds of CCI Blazer through it and it ran fine through those.

Like the Blazer, but i tend to like copper coated ammo, i don't like the lead residue on my hands... :p

but i hear ya. hotter rounds seem less failure prone. but mine handles Federal bulk just fine. :D

Had my GSG out earlier this work. It ate all the cheap blazer bulk pack I could feed it. I've put 500+ rounds through it since I've bought it and it makes me smile every time.

I was at the range today and my GSG was officially dubbed my favorite gun that I own. Of the 6 guns I brought today, the GSG was the most fun. I too have discovered the blazer ammo runs great in mine. I found that hollow points tend to hang up and cause a lot of problems in mine.

For those with GSG's...I noticed armco has stainless guiderods for $30, as well as a good alternative to the OEM buffers :)
