Hey Guys,

Anyone know a gun shop or range that I can go to, to get my hands on a Glock 22, 19 and 17 to get a feel for them and which would be the best one to buy for my hand size / preferences? Not sure where to start really...

Thanks in Advance,

I've seen Glocks at Al Simmons in Hamilton and I'd think Al Flaherty's in Toronto could also be a good place to check out.

[quote"someotherforum"]You can most definitely reload brass from a Glock. Most once fired pistol brass for sale is from a Glock. I've probably reloaded 100k + of .40sw brass from a Glock.

The easiest way to reload it is to use a Lee U die (or a EGW U die which is a modified Lee die) and a Lee factory crimp die. Both have carbide rings in them that get most of the bulge out. The finished rounds have a slight hour glass shape to them but they work just fine. I use Hornady one shot case lube just because it makes the press cycle easier.

In a decade of competitive shooting I've only seen two case head separations, both were .40sw and were PMC brass. PMC .40sw brass has a sharp edge around the base on the inside of the case that makes it weaker.

If you want information on reloading pistol calibers Brain Enos's web site is the place to look:

try Williams arms...very good bunch of people there.
I just bought my Glock 22 Gen 4 there. I saw more Glocks at the showcase window.

I've been periodically checking back for a Glock 17 Gen 4 from Al Flaherty's all summer (I live not too far from there), and I can tell you for a fact as of two days ago they didn't have one and they were hoping for some in Sept./ Oct.

Unfortunately, the Glock 19 is prohibited in Canada as the barrel is under 105mm. It would have been the perfect Glock size for me.

Target Sports Canada. I was just there completing my probation shoots and I had to use 9mm, 40 and 45, I chose all Glocks to shoot for probation. Awesome guns, totally reliable, never jam and very accurate. Glocks are #1 in my book, and I've shot reloads in the Gen3 all the time. Apparently, you have to reload a higher grain count with the Gen4 because the spring pressure is much stronger than the guide rod spring on the Gen3. Outside of that you won't have any issues with Glocks, they're tried and true and never quite.

PM me and will tell you where they have it in stock.
