P14 quick question

[Iron sights]

Just bought me a new p14 enfield .303 all fully original stamped 1914. Just wondering though:

With the flip up iron sights that adjust to 1650m, when flipped down what is the non adjustable peep sight set at? It looks like it is farther than 100m, and i read it was 300m somewhere. Is this true?

The battle sight is for 400 yards.

What factory is your P14?

Eddystone is ERA above the serial number on the receiver.

Remington is a large RE in a circle on top of the receiver.

Winchester is simply the serial number starting with W.

I have an Eddystone also. One of my favorite rifles to shoot..

Its in super shape, thinking of taking it hunting if all goes well at the range, I like the iron sights on it.
