Is the Kel-tec RFB the only .308 bullpup rifle availible in Canada... aside from the Walther WA2000 which would be on the upper end of affordablility;)

Preferably non-restricted, however restricted would work as well...

Yeah man. They're super popular. Pretty much the Kel-tech is the only .308 semi bullpup I know of.

You could look at desert arms if you wanted something 3X the price of a Kel Tech and 3X more accurate.

I'd sure like to know "exactly" why these are legal and conversion kits are not. I mean I read the law......but a kit is "not a stock". Its a chassis.....and you can't "use a firearm" without it. So either NO bull pup should be legal....or they need to get rid of such a stupid regulation. A folding rear stock "reduces" the length of the firearm the same way a bullpup does.......so does a shorter barrel for that matter.

I suspect that the law was written with the intention of banning all bullpups, but the language was written so poorly that the end result was stocks are banned, while complete receiver based guns are OK.

Just my guess.

Yes but a Kel Tec is still a bull pup. And whether it was added later as a kit or from birth.....there is still a stock component. So either the regulation must be abolished......or all bull pups need to be prohibited.

challenge the regulation..sure..but... to say , Re-classify stock bullpups..?

WTF!!

good thing some are non-registered and were sold months ago...lol

I feel that pressure.......will legalize kits.......because.....you can't call a complete chassis a "stock". The firearm will not work without the chassis....You don't walk around with a barrel, receiver and a bolt in your hand. A stock is the thing that goes in your shoulder. So I think they will be pressured into legalizing a complete chassis. Now you know what side I'm on :)

it has to do with the bullpup being an integral part of the gun. other than that not sure.

And what does that mean? Who makes that determination? As I said..... chassis is pretty integral......you don't walk around with a bolt, receiver and barrel....

I'm surprised no one has done a legal challenge.....
