Surefire muzzle brake

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a surefire muzzle brake for 5.56 in Canada? All of the authorized retailers of surefire near me (Ottawa) don't sell them because they require a special export permit
 
the only one i can find in canada is sold by DS Tactical in BC but its only the surefire muzzle flash hider, not the dual port brake. I've tried looking too

Yep, although you shouldn't have any issues getting them (there are lots of other muzzle brakes around) they are priced higher than the other brands so its not just a sub-100 dollar part.

I assuem you are talking about the MB556K.

I think its non exportable because its compatable with supressor.

You could try TR exports, but you will be taking your chances.

Could be. but I know there are others you can get (like the Ops Inc brake, or I think the YHM one) that are suppressor compatible, and don't SEEM to be limited at all as long as you are getting your export permits filled out.
 
I think it could be done, it's just that it's not really worth the time of the importers, given that we can't have suppressors. They'd sell like three of them to the fake can crowd. It's only worth the hassle and cost if they can do bulk orders.
