has anyone used the federal premium heavy coyote load? if so how did it do? And where did you buy it. I think I will have to go to the gun shop and see if they can order it for me. any other good ideas for a coyote load that's easy to find in Canada? All I can find is 00 buck, it works, but i would like to try something else. Can't seem to find #4 buck anywhere either. whats with terrible selection for shotguns in Canada?

That dead coyote load seemed to be $5 a shot if I remember. I use #4buck very common in southern ontario. BBs work to. #4 buck fills out a nice pattern and can reach out 50 yards with ease. If your 40yards or less most turkeys loads will drop a yote fast. Just pattern what ever gun and load first good luck

#4 buck isn't legal to use on big game in many provinces (such as Ontario), so many stores won't carry it. If you're in Eastern Ontario and want some #4, send me a PM.

Actually I'm in Saskatchewan. Can't find #4 buck anywhere. Does anyone know if they are available or even legal to use in sask?

Should be legal for Yotes (I can't say this with definite certainty though), not sure about big game. It should be summarized in your provincial hunting regs. Any sask hunters have some input?

We use 00 Buck for coyotes. Very hard hitting and easy to acquire. All that specialized ammo (when it comes to a shotgun) is overpriced and not worth it IMO.

I got the Local Coop here to ordeer some in. If you happen to be near Tisdale I think they still have 2 boxes left. I tried 00 but it sprays out of my Mod choke 870. Have not tried the 4 buck yet. I usually use BB mags now.
