Just got my Hatsan optima mp-a and I'm wondering if anybody's done any mods to theirs and if so what parts did you use ( 870,500) and from where? (ie shell carriers , stocks , etc)

Cool man. How is the stock or recoil? The stock one kicked my a$$. Did it just bolt on or was there alterations reqd? Was it for an 870?

Not sure what you mean about the stock/recoil kicking ass ?
Here is my friend trying it for the first time when I had less 5 rounds thru it and it had the original stock still on it..

Maybe lots more practice ? The round count on my MP-A is over 8000.

The ATI stock came with an 870 and 1100 adapter.
I used the 1100 and filed it till it fit.
The bolt that the holds the stock to the receiver needed to be replaced and cut down.

Your video aint working. And I meant that it beat my shoulder up. I was shootin a bunch of slugs through it bc the Winchester 1180fps target loads didn't have enough punch to cycle the bolt properly but the 1200's did. I'm just wondering of your stock provides a softer recoil than the factory one does. I wonder if I could make the Knoxx fit?

Majority of those 8000 rnds are Target loads. - you will see in the vid Winchester AA was being used.

I shoot at plate, clay and paper hence target loads and some slug depending on the timed run..

As far as recoil it doesnt matter what goes down the barrel since I always wear a tac vest hence no noticeable felt recoil.

Not sure on the Knoxx - but the ATI works as per my MP-A, reasonable price ($80) and adjustable.
