there are other issues to look at also:
- holsters - replace ALL of your holsters when you get a non-compatible gun
- Mags - as all ready stated
- parts/armorer supplies - there are exsisting parts and tools - replace the system and you have to re-tool
- training - relearning a manual of arms/programming for effective shooting for some guns - not as critical with handgun, but there none the less.
the cost is far larger than JUST buying guns.
