Remington 700, Kreiger medium Palma, .260 Remington, chambered with Manson reamer, Harrel brake, old steel T series Weaver, HS Precision stock. Scope and stock are for testing; permanent stock will be MilCun laminated. Will be shooting 142 SMKs in Lapua brass.

Barrel is just under 30", blank was about 32". Then add the brake, so it is pretty close to 32" overall. Balance isn't bad for a long rifle, and it isn't unreasonably heavy. Bought the Kreiger at a closeout several months ago.
Just put one of these brakes on my .308 precision rifle (Mike Rock M24 barrel), and really like it. Can see splash through the scope, and accuracy seems to be improved. Last two groups (Lapua cases, 47 Varget, 155SMK) were 5/8" and 3/4" at 100m, bipod & rear bag. Certainly nicer to shoot. The .260 is lighter than this one, the Rock Creek barrel is a bit of a truck axle.

Remember the MilCun designed stock formerly made by Robertson Composites? Same style in laminated birch. Keith uses them on rifles he builds for folks. I'll take some photos.

Had the rifle to the range this morning. Shot, cleaned, shot, cleaned, etc. wihile getting the scope lined up. First 5 shot group, with a moderate load of Varget and the 142SMK; 3/4" @ 100m, .67moa. I think it wants to shoot! Tried 42, 43, 44gr of RE19; it doesn't like 42 at all, but with 43 and 44 it is cleanly sub minute. With 44gr, velocity is about 2840fps. Very comfortable to shoot. Will do some load development, and report on progress.
