Are there any books dedicated specifically to Swedish Mausers? Or would I have to go the broader route and get a copy of one of Robert Ball's Mauser books and hope to find a lot of info on Swedes in there?

"Crown Jewels, TheMauser in Sweden, A Century of Accuracy and Precision", from Collector Grade Publications, by Dana Jones ISBN 0-88935-283-6

Some errors / omissions, but sure the best book you can get on them.

Hi there. I have one also on the Swedish Mauser rifles by Steve Kehaya and Joe Poyer put out by North Cape Publications. It is an interesting book. I will also look for the Crown Jewels Book as it looks like a good one. Regards.

X2 on 'Crown Jewels'.

Or just talk to Buffdog...it'll save you a lot of reading. : )

Thanks for the confidence AdrianM. Crown Jewels is the best by far, but the publisher does not have any left in stock from what I hear right now.

Kehaya and Poyer has a bucket full of mistakes and incorrect information in it and I would not recommend it.

Crown Jewels was published in 2003 and we have learned much information since then. Hopefully, there will be a second edition with a lot of updated and amended information in it.

I just bought a copy off of Amazon from seller zno.1bookman.Be prepared to pay a bit more than the original published price but this book is fairly hard to find right now,at least that was my experience.
An outfit in Sweden (makes sense) also lists this book among their literature listings.Web address is stockholmsvapenfabrik.se ,they have some neat stuff on that site.
One thing for sure Crown Jewels is one mighty book, extremely helpful in many ways and a wealth of information for people interested in Swedish Mausers.
