Got my big guy back from the taxidermist....

Some of you guys might remember the big Ontario whitetail I took with the muzzleloader last season. Well I finally got him back from my taxidermist a few weeks ago and he's looking good next to the previous years buck on my basement wall. Before and after pics.

Thanks. I would have done a more upright mount but I had to go with a semi-sneak to get him to clear the ceiling. Damn big bucks....

You have to roll down the window very quietly.

Nope. The 10 point was taken about 400 yards from my back door with my Ruger 77 in 338 Win Mag, the big one was taken 20 minutes away, just outside Peterborough with a Savage ML II muzzleloader shooting a Hornady 250gr XTP hp.

The mounts were done by Rob Therrien in Millbrook. He's excellent to deal with and has done a few for other guys on here as well.

Nice buck. He is very strong on his left side compared to his right. Regardless, he is a nice buck.
