This fell out of my ruger 10/22

Hi, this fell out of my Ruger 10/22 carbine. Can someone tell me what it is so I can go about trying to fix it.

Extractor....fits in a slot on the side of the bolt, with the claw comming over the top edge of the bolt face. It grabs the rim of the casing and pulls it out of the chamber.

Is there something missing or is it just these two parts ?

That's actually three parts, but yeah...that's all.

Slide the spring into the hole, plunger facing out, hook the extractors tail into the back of the slot while holding the plunger back, mover around until it clicks in place. Release plunger

EDIT: it could be my phone, but that extractor looks like hell...you might want to order a replacement.

Ya, looks a fair bit bent from this angle... If that's the case, you might want a new one.

thanks for the replies, I looked up on youtube it looks pretty straight forward to fix. Anyone have suggestions on where I can pick up a new on and a better performing one ?

[EDIT] Apparently MilArm (http://www.milarm.com), in Edmonton, is a distributor. Might a good place to start.

Brownells in the U.S. (online) carries the Volquartsen edge extractor and spring as well. That's where I got mine.
