Swiss arms Pe90 1:10 Barrel

You cant be sure what will be most accurate until you try different brands , all rifles are a little different even Swiss made guns . Most all modern US brass case ammo is reloadable , the Russian and chinese made stuff will often have berdan primers not worth reloading .

I would try ammo with a 55 to 65 grain bullet , just start trying different brands see what groups best for the price .. if you reload use H Varget powder , i like 69gr SMK and 60gr Vmax bullets in my 1/7 twist Swiss

I shoot 60gr V-Max out of my 1:10 Swiss, and have had great results. I've recently purchased some 53gr V-Max w/ boat tail to try. The BC is higher than the 60gr V-Max, and being lighter, you'll get higher velocities out of it. I'll have to report back after I've completed my load development on the new bullets.

Yea i shoot 53gr V max through my 1/12 twist colt SP1 with mind blowing accuracy within 300m .. But if you shoot beyond 300m you want at least a 60 grain bullet and preferably a 1/7 twist barrel . From my experience the 1/10 Swiss Arms shoots better groups within 300m but beyond that the 1/7 barrel groups hold way tighter for longer distance . I Shoot out to 500m often so i sold my 1/10 and bought a 1/7 , i really want both .. but im not rich lol

I regularly shoot my 1:10 with 55 grain V-Max out to 550m. I hit the gong each and every time with a 4x ACOG.

1:7 vs. 1:10 really doesn't come into play at that range. Maybe if we were talking 1000m then the heavier bullet and faster twist barrel would have the advantage but either way it comes down more to the shooter than the barrel twist.

It depends. As the BC on the 53gr BT is higher, it should maintain velocity better; however, the SD is lower than on the 60gr V-Max, so it'll get blown around a little more easily. Although, from Hornadys website, the SD is about the same as 55gr FMJBT, and you should have no problem hitting a 12" gong at 500 with those, so I'll definitely be testing the longer range accuracy of them with my Swiss.
 
You are good to go with up to 69 gr SMK's with the 1:10 twist. Been there, done that, have the T-shirt.

I have a Swiss with the 1:10 and I am experimenting with 70 gr Berger's. No problems stabilizing at 50 yards. I plan to take them out to 500.

My Swiss puts 70 gr Berger's with 24.0 gr RL-15 into consistent .3" groups at 50 yards with a 4x ACOG. It will be very intersting to see how that translates at greater distances (500).
